In early briefings with Jeep on their upcoming 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk announcement, it became apparent that the media announcement kit we were assigned to design and produce needed to be far more that just nice to look at. First, the vehicle was truly a Jeep, the most legendary off-road product in the world – yet this one could also blow the doors off of any other SUV around, with 707 horsepower and 645 lb.-ft. of torque. Couple these with a high-end, racing-inspired interior featuring premium materials and the latest in electronic technologies, and it became obvious we needed to make each of these attributes individually clear, yet work together in harmony.
The product information kit distributed at the reveal included a custom USB flash drive we designed that mirrored the vehicle’s unique badging, a perfect-bound product information book, and a “power bank” that could be used to (super)charge portable electronic devices. Flash drive content included in-depth product information, downloadable photography and video, as did a separate website we developed for those unable to attend the reveal. The materials and finishes used in the kit were inspired by those used on the vehicle.
